Problems with audio recorded in movies using the internal microphone of the camera

There may be a problem with the microphone jack if the sound in recorded movies cuts out, is too low, or contains a hissing or beeping noise. Test this by recording a movie using the internal mic and then again after connecting an external mic to the jack on the left side of the camera.

If the sound using the external mic is good and the problem still happens using the internal mic, the camera will need to be sent in for service.
