Notice on Incorrect Description in VAIO User Guide and Website for VAIO Fit Series

Dear Sony Customers,

We have identified that there are incorrect descriptions about the keyboard backlight function in the VAIO User Guide online and in the product information web pages of the VAIO Fit series.

[Correction]
<Incorrect>
The keyboard automatically lights up when used in dark places, making it easier to type in dimly lit rooms.

<Correct>
This product does not have the automatic ambient light sensor for the backlit keyboard. You can switch the key board backlight on or off by changing the backlit keyboard settings on the VAIO Control Center by selecting Mouse and Keyboard.

Solution:

The VAIO User Guide and product information webpages will be updated to reflect the correct information.
To turn the keyboard backlight on and off, change the keyboard backlight settings in VAIO Control Center:
1. Start VAIO Control Center and select Mouse and Keyboard.
2. Change the keyboard backlight settings in Keyboard Backlight.
The settings window appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the settings.
