What is JEITA measuring standard?
Measuring conditions based on JEITA Measuring Methods for Battery Operating Time (Ver.1.0).
JEITA stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).
JEITA measuring standard is based on the following conditions.
Settings:
1. Screen saver: None.
2. Volume control: Mute.
3. Switch off the Wireless LAN switch.
4. Complete the initial settings of Norton AntiVirus.
5. Turn off the Windows automatic updates.
6. Set up the Power Options settings in the Control Panel as below:

JEITA Measuring Method A
* Power Schemes
1. Disable Turn off monitor option.
2. Disable System Standby option.
3. Disable System Hibernates option.
* VAIO Power Management
1. Set LCD Brightness - Running on batteries to Level 1.
2. Click Advanced tab and select VAIO Power Management tab but unselect Automatically hibernates when computer goes into a low-power state option.
