The Accessibility shortcut function provides an easier and faster way to switch your favorite Accessibility shortcut function.
Instead of starting from the setting menu, you can turn the desired shortcut on or off by pressing and holding the AUDIO button on the TV remote control until for three seconds.
Note: The default setting of the Accessibility shortcut function is set to a screen reading function, such as Screen Reader or Talkback. The setting of the Accessibility shortcut function can be confirmed by the following procedure.
Changing the assigned Accessibility shortcut function
For Google TV™
- On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
- Select Settings and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select System and press the Enter button.
- Press the Enter button to select Accessibility and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility shortcut and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Shortcut service and press the Enter button.
- Select your preferred accessibility function and press the Enter button.
- Select OK and press the Enter button.
- Press the HOME button to exit.
For Android TV™
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Since Settings icon is located on the upper right corner of the Home menu, press and hold the Up arrow button for about three seconds and then press and hold the Right arrow button for about two seconds to select Settings then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Device Preferences and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility shortcut and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Shortcut service and press the Enter button.
- Select your preferred accessibility function and press the Enter button.
- Select OK and press the Enter button.
- Press the HOME button to exit.
