The neckband is attached to the unit firmly. You can remove the neckband for cleaning using either two methods.

Method 1

1. Support the cooling/warming surface of the unit
2. Hold the top of the neckband on one side with the other hand
3. Move it in the direction of the arrow as if peeling off from the unit.

Method 2

1. Support the cooling/warming surface of the unit
2. Hold the lower end of the neckband with the other hand
3. Move it in the direction of the arrow as if peeling from the unit.
