Setup error message when installing MS Office
Why am I getting a Setup error message when I try to install MS Office?
When you try to install MS Office 97 you receive the error:
"Setup error 914
Object 1198
Setup files may be damaged, try restarting the program from where you originally ran it.
There may be files still left in a TEMP directory. Look in c:\Windows\temp, c:\temp. Microsoft often creates it's own temp directory - often named \mssetup~ or similar. If the install sees old files, it may not work correctly.
