    How to avoid showing password dialog box when starting Windows.

    Refer to the following procedure.

    [For the case you launch Windows right after setting up Windows.]
    Type only [User name] and leave [Password] blank, then click [OK].

    [For the case you already input password once.]
    Follow either below 2 method.
    Method 1 - To remove extension PWL file -
    1, Click [Start] - [Find] - [Files or Folders]
    2, Type [*.PWL] and select [Windows] to look in.
    3, Delete found PWL file.
    4, Click [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel].
    5, Double click [Password] icon.
    6, Click [User Profiles] tab and choose [All users of this computer use the same preferences and desktop settings] option.
    7. Restart Windows.
    8, Type only [User name] and leave [Password] blank when [Welcome to Windows] dialog box appeared to type user name and password.

    Method 2 - To edit SYSTEM INI file -
    1, Open [SYSTEM. INI] file in Windows folder.
    2, Add [;] (semicolon) in the head of line written under [Password Lists] to comment out.
    3, Click [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel].
    4, Double click [Password] icon.
    5, Click [User Profiles] tab and choose [All users of this computer use the same preferences and desktop settings] option.
    6. Restart Windows.
    7, Type only [User name] and leave [Password] blank when [Welcome to Windows] dialog box appeared to type user name and password.
