What to do if some of the games lag when VAIO notebook with ATI graphics card is running on battery?

Some of the games might lag when VAIO notebook with ATI graphics card is running on battery.

1. Click Start
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select Classic View
4. Select Power Options
5. Click on Change plan settings in the selected power plan
6. Click on Change advanced power settings
7. Scroll down and select ATI Graphics Power Settings -> ATI PowerPlay Settings
8. Select either Maximum Performance or Maximum Battery Life in the On battery field
