    How do I back up and restore the license of Windows Media Player?

    --Attention--
    - You can create a backup of the license information only with the procedure below. Please back up audio data separately.
    - We recommend creating the backup of the license periodically.
    - Note that the execution of recovery may destroy the license information.
    - To restore the license, the environment that allows connection to the Internet is required.

    To back up and restore the license, please refer to the following procedure.

    # To back up the license
    --Procedure--
    1) Click [Start] -> [Programs] -> [Windows Media Player].
    2) Click the [Tools] menu and click [License Management].
    3) Click the [Browse] button displayed on the [License Management] dialog box and select a destination of the backup of the license.
    4) Click the [Backup Now] button on the [License Management] dialog box.
    5) Click [OK] on the [License Management] dialog box.

    # To restore the backed up license
    --Procedure--
    1) Connect your computer to the Internet.
    2) Click [Start] -> [Programs] -> [Windows Media Player].
    3) Click the [Tools] menu and click [License Management].
    4) Click the [Browse] button on the [License Management] dialog box and select a folder to which the backup file of the license is stored.
    5) Click the [Restore Now] button on the [License Management] dialog box.
    6) Click [OK] on the [License Management] dialog box.
    7) Click [OK] on the [License Management] dialog box.
