How to encrypt the content of Bluetooth transmissions via Bluetooth Utility?

Encrypting the content of Bluetooth transmissions via Bluetooth Utility.

Since Bluetooth wireless technology is conducted wirelessly, there is always the possibility that a third party connection may be able to intercept the transmissions.

Encryption can be used to render the content indecipherable to anyone who manages to intercept it.

Please refer to the steps below to encrypt:

    1. Right-click the Bluetooth wireless technology icon in the task tray, click Option and select the Security tab.

    2. Select Custom Level ... in Bluetooth Security Level.

    3. Check the Link level enforced security (Authentification and encryption) in Settings.

Note: Once the security mode is configured, a window prompting to enter a Bluetooth passkey (PIN code) will appear when user first makes a connection to another device.
This window will not appear when user connects more than two times to the device.

For more information, please refer to the embedded manual for the Bluetooth Utility.
