Why can't the CD Audio sound volume be adjusted when playing back a music CD?

The CD Audio sound volume cannot be adjusted when playing back a music CD.

The data of a music CD is converted from digital signals to analog signals, and to the WAVE data by the processor, and then played back.
Therefore, please use WAVE volume control to adjust the sound volume of the music CD instead of CD Audio.

To adjust the sound volume with CD Audio when playing back a music CD using SonicStage, please change the playback format to MCI.

To adjust the sound volume with Windows® Media Player, please follow the steps below.

    1. Start Windows® Media Player.
    2. From the Tools menu, click Options.
    3. Click the Device tab.
    4. Select a drive that is used to playback audio.
    5. Click Properties.
    6. Click Analog and click OK.
    7. Click OK.
    8. Close Windows® Media Player and restart it.
