Can't Complete the Firmware Update on My WF-1000X

Update stops at Please wait…Downloading software…
If the progress bar stops at 100 % for at least one minute, attempt the following procedure.
- Press CANCEL in Headphones Connect to shut down the update.
- Turn off the left and right headset unit and turn them back on. (Restart)
- Put the left and right headset units into the charging case and turn off the units. When the power turns off, the red indicator lights on.
- Remove the left and right headset units from the charging case and turn the headset unit on. When the power turns on, the blue indicator flashes.
- Check that the headset and the device used to update are connected.
NOTE: Playback music from the device and check whether sound can be heard from the left and right headset units. - Perform update again.
When the progress bar stops at 0 %.
Check that the device used to update is connected to the Internet and try the following.
- Move the left and right headset units close to the device and perform update.
- Perform update as far away as possible from other devices that transmit radio waves, including Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi devices.
Cannot update the software of iPhone or iOS device, the software update stops at 50 %
If Bluetooth Low Energy devices (wearable devices, smart watches, etc.) are connected to the iOS device, update may not be possible.
Turn off power to the iOS device and all Bluetooth devices other than this unit, then perform update again.
Method of operation:
- Turn off power to all Bluetooth devices connected to the iOS device.
- Put the left and right headset units into the charging case and turn off the unit.When the power turns off, the red indicator lights on.
- Turn off the iOS device and turn it back on (restart).
- Remove the left and right headset units from the charging case and turn the power on. When the power turns on, the blue indicator flashes.
NOTE: Until update is completed, do not turn on any other Bluetooth devices. - Check that WF-1000X and the iOS device used to update are connected. Playback music from the device and check whether sound can be heard from the left and right headset unit.
- Perform update again.
Be sure to do the following when performing update.
- Shutdown all apps other than “Headphones Connect”.
- Move the iPhone or other iOS device as close to the WF-1000X unit as possible.
- Perform update far away from other devices in the area that transmit radio waves, including Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi devices.

If the headphone software version is shown as 1.0.7, update was completed successfully, but if the software version is less than 1.0.7, attempt the following procedure to perform update again.
Start Headphones Connectand check the device software version.
- Shutdown Headphones Connect temporarily.
- Turn off power to all Bluetooth devices connected to the device used to update.
- Turn off the left and right headset units and turn them back on.

2. Remove the left and right headset units from the charging case and turn the power on. When the power turns on, the blue indicator flashes. - Check that the headset and the device used to update are connected.
