Notice to Customers using Memory Stick PRO media with Memory Stick PRO-compatible Sony Cyber-shot Digital Still Cameras and Handycam Digital Camcorders

Dear Valued Sony Cyber-shot and Handycam Customer:

We have discovered a possibility that some models of Cyber-shot digital still cameras and Handycam digital camcorders may experience the following symptoms:

Data stored on Memory Stick PRO media, whose capacities exceed 2gigabytes (GB)*, may disappear or be erased when used with the following models of Cyber-shot digital still cameras and Handycam digital camcorders. 

Note*: We have not launched Memory Stick PRO media whose capacities exceed 2GB in the Asia Pacific market.

The following models may not function properly with Memory Stick PRO media whose capacities exceed 2GB.

Cyber-shot digital still camera
DSC-F77, DSC-FX77, DSC-F77A, DSC-F717, DSC-P32, DSC-P72, DSC-P92, DSC-P8, DSC-P10, DSC-V1, DSC-U30, DSC-U60

Handycam digital camcorder
DCR-TRV22, DCR-TRV22E, DCR-TRV33, DCR-TRV33E, DCR-TRV38, DCR-TRV38E, DCR-TRV60, DCR-TRV60E, DCR-TRV75, DCR-TRV75E, DCR-TRV80, DCR-TRV80E, DCR-TRV350, DCR-TRV355E, DCR-TRV356E, DCR-PC105, DCR-PC105E, DCR-PC330, DCR-PC330E

We ask those customers of the above models not to use Memory Stick PRO media whose capacities exceed 2GB.

Memory Stick PRO media with 2GB or less capacities can be used in the above models.
