The audio or video of a DVD does not play smoothly (skips, stutters or lags) when using the InterVideo WinDVD software.
1. Disable the screen saver.
2. Verify that the desktop resolution is set to high.
3. Verify that the color depth is set to 32-bit.

NOTE: If the resolution and color depth are not set properly, change them to different temporary settings, and then return them to an appropriate resolution and color depth.
4. Set hardware acceleration to full.
5. Uninstall the WinDVD software from Add or Remove Programs.
6. Reinstall the WinDVD software.
