About JEITA Measuring Standard:
Settings:
1. Display a desktop screen.
2. Set the performance selector switch to STAMINA.
3. Screen saver: None
4. Volume control: Mute
5. Switch off the airplane mode switch of Network
VAIO Control Center:
- Image Quality -> Display Brightness: Off
- Mouse and Keyboard -> Keyboard Backlight -> Set the keyboard backlight action when running on battery: Do not turn on
- Power and Battery -> Power Saving -> Set the display refresh rate when running on battery : 40Hz
Desktop Background:
- Set the desktop background according to the size of the display. Display 1600x900F
- Set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1600x900
- At Display 1366x768, set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1366x768
Common settings in Control Panel -> Power Options:
Power Plan:
- Select Power Saver.
- Go to Change plan settings -> Change advanced power settings -> On battery:
- Sleep -> Sleep after: Never
- Sleep -> Hibernate after : Never
- Display -> Dim display after : 0
- Display -> Turn off display after : Never
- Battery -> Critical battery level: 1
JEITA Measuring Method A:
Display Brightness
- Change the brightness level according to the size of the display.
- Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Display Brightness -> On battery:
At Display 1366x768: Change the brightness level to 34%
At Display 1600x900F, Change the brightness level to 22%
JEITA Measuring Method B:
Display Brightness
- Change the brightness level.
- Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Display Brightness -> On battery: Change the brightness level to 10%
