What are the differences between Camera app & Photography Pro?

    Solution

    You can take stunning pictures with the "Camera" app as easily as ever. Moreover, with "Photography Pro", you can take photos by giving particular attention to details by camera manual controls inspired by Sony Alpha cameras.

    Especially with "Photography Pro", you can use the AF/AE burst shooting function*1 and Real-time Eye AF*2 for humans and animals. Also, you can output to RAW (.DNG) file and manage photos completely as per your desire.

    Xperia 1 V
    Xperia 5 V    		30fps AF/AE burst shooting with continuous calculations of autofocus and exposures up to 60 times per second is supported in all lenses in Photography Pro.Real-time Eye AF on humans and animals is supported in all lenses in Photography Pro.

    Xperia 5 IV    		20fps AF/AE burst shooting with continuous calculations of AF/AE up to 60 times per second is supported in all lenses in Photography Pro.

    Xperia PRO-I    		20fps AF/AE burst shooting with calculations of up to 60 times per second is supported only in the 24mm (wide) lens. Other lenses support 10fps AF/AE bust with calculations of up to 30 times per second AF/AE.Real-time Eye AF on humans and animals is supported only in the 24mm(wide) lens.

    Notes:

    • In the premium model of Xperia 1 III and later products, the Camera app function has been merged into Photography Pro basic mode.
