Why doesn't my Xperia device have a 4K option in the YouTube app?
4K video quality is only supported by the YouTube app on select Xperia devices. If your Xperia device doesn't support 4K streaming, then YouTube adjusts the quality of your video stream from standard (such as 240p or 360p) to high (720p, 1080p or 1440p), based on the speed of your internet connection (bandwidth).
