Why does the VAIO computer turn on automatically even though the power button is not pressed?
Although the VAIO computer is in shutdown state, it turns on automatically sometimes when a part of the cabinet of the computer is being touched.
A new BIOS upgrade firmware patch has been developed to resolve this symptom and is now available for download.
In the Downloads section, please select Notebook and proceed with the steps below:
1. Move the cursor to the relevant Notebook Series and click the model of the VAIO computer.
2. Locate BIOS Upgrade Program and proceed as per instructions on the screen.
