Why is the fan sometimes so noisy?
The fan is noisy sometimes.
The VAIO computer is fitted with a high efficiency fan to cool the system more effectively. Short duration (1 to 2 seconds) of noise can usually be heard when
- the computer is initially turned on, or
- shifted from a standby/hibernate mode, or
- when the computer is running intensively.
This high efficiency fan is used to cool the system efficiently and prevent over heating of the computer.
