The display on the monitoring screen of Monitor & Control lags and communication becomes unstable when using a Wi-Fi connection.
Wi-Fi connections using the camera as an access point (Wi-Fi Direct connections)
5 GHz is less susceptible to interference from other wireless devices than 2.4 GHz, which can often result in faster communication speeds and a more stable connection.
If your camera can use the 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi frequency, try switching the camera's Wi-Fi frequency band to 5 GHz.

Connecting the camera to a mobile device using the mobile device as an access point (Wi-Fi tethering) or using a wireless LAN router as an access point.

If the mobile device's tethering settings, or the access point you are using, can use the 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi frequency, try connecting to the 5 GHz band for Wi-Fi.
If you are using an ILCE-1/9M3/7RM5/7SM3/7M4, ILME-FX3/FX30, ZV-E1, it can also be beneficial to set Access Authen. Settings to [Off].
As it may not be possible to confirm your destination address or to ensure the security of the communication path, only attempt this in an environment where the security can be assured.

When you have finished remote shooting with Monitor & Control, set the camera's access authentication settings back to [On].
