Unable to connect to the Internet when IPv6 is enabled.

    This error message may appear if the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or the website is not compatible with  Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6).

    For Android TV™

    The steps below applies only to specific operating systems, Android™ 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0. If your TV is Android 8.0 or later, refer to: The Android TV cannot be connected to the Internet: how to perform a network diagnosis.

    1. First, check the Network status.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES categories.
      4. Select Advanced settings.
      5. Select Network status.
    2. If the Internet Access field displays IPv4:OK IPv6:Failed, set IPv6 to Off by following these steps.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES categories.
      4. Select Advanced settings.
      5. For models released in and before 2017:
        1. For Do you want to enable IPv6? select No.
        2. Select IPv6 setup.
        For models released in 2018:
        Select IPv6.

    For models released in 2014

    Set the IPv6 to Off by following these steps:

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. Select IPv6 Setup.
    5. Select Set up IPv6 connection.
    6. Select No.
