Benny is the founder & mastermind behind www.junoproduction.com. The art of capturing beautiful objects behind the lens did not really catch his attention until he started using a professional camera for the first time in 2009, following which he opened his own business in 2010 called JUNO production and, specialised in wedding and lifestyle photography.

Wonderful ideas and concepts jump out of his head whenever he discusses photography. Thanks to a good eye for composition and a unique approach to photography, he is able to express moments and capture images of romance with natural style.

He is also the founder of www.hifcreative.com, a website dedicated to a community, from a community.

What motivates the photographer in you?

I can capture moments and bring back memories too.

How important is photography in your work and personal life?

Photography is my passion. I started this passion as a hobby, and that’s why I love my job, because I’m doing it with passion.

What are your expectations of your photography equipment?

They have to be lightweight with fast auto focus, and also have sharp quality.

Who are the biggest influences in your photography journey?

I’m constantly inspired by all things around me. I don’t have a specific name for any photographer - there are too many inspiring people in my daily life.

What is the greatest challenge you faced in your photography and how did the a7 series help alleviate this?

I’m doing a lot of overseas assignments, and the a7’s small size, high megapixels and sharpness of the lens really help.

Why did you choose the a7 series to be part of your work and personal photography journey?

I started using a mirrorless camera in 2012 for my daily use while still using my DLSR for work. When I heard that the Sony a7 series have full-frame sensors in their mirrorless cameras, I was really curious about their performance. I have loved it ever since. After 6 months, I decided to sell all my DSLR cameras. A small camera with high performance answered all my needs as a wedding photographer.

What, to you, are two or three key features / advantages of the a7 series?

High dynamic range, Wi-Fi^® & NFC, with a full-frame sensor in a compact body.

How do you rate Sony in the field of digital imaging?

One of the best mirrorless cameras with a full-frame sensor. On a scale of 10, a 9-10 for me.

What is your favourite lens?

The Sony FE16-35mm for capturing landscape, FE 35mm for covering wedding events, and the FE 55mm for capturing medium and occasionally, portrait shots. The 135mm f1.8 is also great for capturing the mood of portrait shots.

What’s in your camera bag?

The Sony a7RII, a7II, FE 16-35, FE 35mm, FE 55mm, CZ 135mm with adaptor mount, three 64GB SD cards, Sony speedlight, as well as five batteries and two chargers.
